Icing Epic Winning

Doesn't everyone remember this guy?  I sure do...
Charlie Sheen! (photo from Google Images)
Well if you aren't in the loop then you don't know that Icing has three nail polishes named after him; Epic Winning, Tiger's Blood, and Rockstar From Mars.  I didn't pick up the last one though.
But I was going to a mall that has an Icing in it (I was so excited!) because the closest one to me is 45 minutes away.  I had seen Epic Winning on the shelf and eventually decided to get it when I hadn't seen Tiger's Blood which was my main objective.  But at the register there were a few bottles of Tiger's Blood and I was like OMG it was just sitting there waiting for me!  Eek!!!
Without more chattering, here is Epic Winning (and it actually wins epically).

Bam!

Three coats glitter, one top coat.

Love in a bottle...

Pointer, middle, and pinky all have one coat of a blue and (I think) only one coat of Epic Winning.
Ring finger has one coat of black and (I think) only one coat of Epic Winning.
I am in love with it over black.

Gah!!!!
There you have it, one of my new favorite loves.  It is a thiiiiiiick glitter but the result is well worth the difficult application and the icky brush (I hate it!  Too big!) and the rip-off bottle (exactly like China Glaze's).
  Sigh...

Happy winning,
Em

Del Sol Reckless

A nice white shimmery cream.  Three coats.

Perfect hand position.
I was unable to get a picture of this in the sun.  I had put it on on a Tuesday and it came fully off on Wednesday night.  It was a combination of bubbles from the heat and picking at it during Marching Band that night.
This was my first day of school manicure.  It was made me fall in love with my favorite top coat (and light pinks) again.

Happy color changing,
Em

BCA Month

This was my mani to show my support this October for BCA month.  Pink streak in my hair and all...
I liked it pre-shatter.

That's really it.  There's nothing to say except think about what it means to you.

Happy supporting,
Em

dELiA*s (not so) Neon Yellow.

Three (maybe four?) coats of yellow yummyness.

It had some blue undertones but to bring it out more, I put Pure Ice Oh Baby! over it.

Just a little more neon than IRL.

*shakes head* You have not killed my want for Yellow Polka Dot Bikini. Grr.
A little barely neon yellow that I got from a haul in early August.  I got it in a 4-pack for $3.  Steal.  After three and a half day, I have a little chipping near my cuticles on the ring fingers and I have a slightly distressed right thumb (it didn't dry properly) but otherwise this is the longest lasting manicure that I have worn since my Mets manicure.  It's been a while and that's why I've been so ahead in posting.

China Glaze Atlantis

I am so freaking in love right now.  Let the pictures describe them and then I will later :)

:) My own personal holographic kingdom.
Perfect name for it :)

I love holo!

And it still looks amazing in the shade.  I am in LOVE!

The bottle out in the sun.  Sigh.
I shall die over this polish.  It was a present from my lovely potterhead for my fifteenth bday in may so its still a great formula even after all the time it has spent in my room and in the store.  I am officially declaring China Glaze as my favorite formula.
HOLOGRAPHIC GLITTER!!!!!!! IN A TEAL BASE.  It is awesomesauce :)

Happy glittering,
Em

Disco Nails

dELiA*s Neon Pink from the quad.  I gave this pink the most awkward look when I first put it on.

I hate pink nail polish.  But this looked so good on me and I liked the general shade with the blue hidden shimmer.  I just haaaaaaaate pink nail polish.  So I didn't know what to think.

Once I taped off the black and the white, it washed the pink out.  Like seriously.  It looks like friggn salmon here!

And now it's all shiny with top coat.  I was planning on matte-ing this to make it look like an old diner floor but it came off within a few days.

So that's my decently cool, creative manicure.  I actually got a lot of compliments on it but I needed something that wasn't pink.  I try to avoid it...
DOESN'T THIS REMIND YOU OF A DISCO FLOOR OR AN OLD BLACK AND WHITE DINER FLOOR WITH A TWIST????????

Happy dinering,
Em

Fantasy Makers Night Glow

Despite my need to just let my nails grow, I painted them again (and again, and again).  But this time I tried something awesome!  Fantasy Makers is made by Wet n Wild and some of their colors are dupes for Wet n Wild colors.
  But a glow-in-the-dark polish?  COOL!
I only kept it on for like a little less than two days.  It was glowing (and mesmerizing me/freaking me out) when I went to sleep the first night but I don't remember it glowing when I woke up in the morning...  And it was dark because I wake up at 5:20 and the sun comes up around 6:40ish (when this mani was done (about two-ish weeks ago)).
I really want to try this over another yellow or orange or green.  But I'll try that more around Halloween  time :).
It actually does tint yellow...

But it glows in the dark (hence the name)!

This is how band my naked nails are looking these days.
My nails haven't grown much at all since this picture.  My pinky and pointer fingers don't have that ugly edge anymore so that's good.
This mani was a day or two after the Distressed post.  Sigh.  At this rate they aren't going to be long during Halloween :(.

Happy glowing,
Em
