Butter London Wallis

Hello peoples!  Sorry I've been MIA lately, this week and last week were pretty crazy.  So I'll still be a bit MIA...

Sorry for the load of picture by the way.  This is Butter London Wallis, a brown green color.  Its got super shimmer and is amazing.  I don't even know how to describe this! So I'm just going to leave it at that and let the pictures speak for themselves.

Happy descibing,
Em

Icing Pre Game

I shall start out with the average black creme!

  Now... we add the glitter!

\

Icing Pre Game.  Very similar to Icing After Party.  I did have a bottle comparison photo of them, but I can't find it :(.  Oops.  But they both have shards, just some different colors.
I'm not a hundred percent sure whether some of these pictures have matte top coat on them or not.  But it really doesn't matter.
Over Wet n Wild Black Creme.

Happy shredding,
Em

Zoya Pippa

Hello dear readers!  Today I have a real summer color for you, Zoya Pippa.  Pippa is an orange toned yellow creme.  I have used it before, in water marbles and such (too lazy to link ya), and have even used it for a full manicure.  And I kinda liked it.  But now... Not so much.
It is never this neon

Shade
Somewhat color accurate

So, yeah.  Part of the reason is that yellow doesn't look good on my skin tone.  Like I don't own more than like two yellow shirts and I never wear yellow dresses or anything.  I have a yellow bathing suit but in my opinion, if one isn't tan, one can not properly pull off yellow.  And even right now, I ain't tan :P.  But I guess I'd rather wear an orange toned yellow rather than a green toned yellow (blech).

Happy summer,
Em

Josh's Graduation!

Hey guys!  Again, sorry about the lack of posting, things have been very crazy lately...
But my brother graduated last month (2 years older than I) and I did this manicure to represent our high school colors, navy and white.  I'm very big in school pride so I mix these a lot...

The blue is China Glaze First Mate and the White is Wet n Wild French White.  Looking at these nails these days it's like OMG nubbins!!  So yeah mine right now are much longerrrr.  Not like very long just longer than I am used to.
I cried at graduation.  This is my sibling that is closest in age to me and therefore he was my buddy and I love him <3.

Happy graduation,
Em

Very Berry Replay (Except Not...)

Well, where I first saw this mani, I was like OMG and then I tried it.  Lol.

This is after I added some shimmer...
Original

Shimmery
Okay, so I know that I have been veryyyy lazy with posts lately.  I mean with finals last week and studying and graduation and work this week, it has been ridiculously crazy.  But like I said, it should be better now.  Well, that is unless I get home from work every day and fall asleep (like I have been)...
But for this manicure I used Love and Beauty Olive (I think, there was no tag on it) for the turquoise and Zoya Lolly for the pink.  And then for shimmer I added China Glaze White Cap.  Let me tell you, it looked AH-MAY-ZING!  Like I loved the look of it so much that I did just the turquoise on my toes (with the shimmer).  Very summery.

Happy summer,
Em

P.S. If you wanted to be awesome and follow me on Instagram (which would be awesome right?) then my username is emie116.  I don't post only nail-related things, but once in a few weeks I do post a mani.  There are a lot of things about me on there so you get to learn a little about my non-polish life :)

$OPI Slushied and OPI Funky Dunkey

I went college touring along parts of the east coast with my brother during spring break, so I needed a cute, solid manicure to last me the week.  It didn't last me, but it was still cute and solid.  I used Sephora by OPI Slushied (arguably my favorite blue creme) and OPI Funky Dunkey.  I love love love them both.

It was a pretty nice accent mani if I do say so myself.  The blue and purple looked pretty good together.
3 coats of each, decent application.  My usual base + top coats.  Niice!

Happy accenting,
Em

Sephora by OPI Slushied and Sally Hansen HD Spectrum

So just to warn you, this is the mani that caused this fail.  This shimmer that WON'T GET OFF OF MY FLOOR!  Grr, lol.
Err, after shimmer?  Probably, even though I can't see it here.
There's that purple!

It works well with Slushied.
Just Slushied.

Just Slushied.
SEE IT?  SEE THE CULPRIT OF THE CRIME??? (I'm jk)
I <3 duochrome shimmers!
With and without Spectrum
:)

I love love loved this manicure!  I got a lot of compliments on it too!  It was so pretty, purple and blue in some lights, pure teal in others.  It's a chameleon!
Just so you know, I am not blaming the polish for my floor.  It was my own stupidity :P.

Happy shimmering,
Em
